One of the main reasons we formed the SeacoastGPGroup was to help bring together all the members of the local agricultural and horticultural communities and try to make their jobs easier in somewhat trying times.  

One of the first ways we discovered we could do this was by helping people find good local equipment for private sale.  We learned that lots of local folks have farm equipment they no longer need but have time or don't want to pay for ads or be pestered by a lot of no-grit phone calls. 

We help by taking all the calls and answering all the questions.  Keeping in touch with you and putting you in touch with buyers and sellers of pre-owned farm equipment if need be.  It's a piece of cake.  Contact us and ask for Mike.  We'll come by and take pictures, get the details, hear who you think would like the equipment and take it from there.

You'll see pictures of your tractor posted online fast.  And we get lots of calls every day from people interested in these machines.

Again, its the local thing.  No need to drive thousands of miles to pick up a good deal on a tractor or loader or other machine you need.  Every seller is in the Seacoast area and so are our buyers.

It's easy to get going - Here's how it works!

Just contact us and we'll visit you at your location, listen to what you want to grow and how big you want your garden to be. 

Then we can provide you with lots of mix-and-match options to fit your wants and needs:

• Perform a site assessment to qualify your location for best sunlight and drainage
• Evaluate your soil to identify precise nutrients and lime to add for maximum growth
• Till your land and screen your soil of rocks and other debris
• Add amendments to improve your soil fertility
  • Bolster the seasonal availability of soil nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), Sulfur (S) and other plant nutrients
  • Balance your soil's pH acidity by adding lime and adjusting its texture
  • Boost the organic matter content of your soil with compost and humus
• Raise 18" rows and plant all the seeds or transplants you like so they;ll root well
• Put a fence around the garden to keep out pests if you like
• Add plastic groundshield to inhibit weed growth and retain moisture

We can do any or all of these activities for you and generally can put in a 30ft by 30ft garden in fewer than three days without heavy equipment or noise or problems.  Our workers are swift, smart and skillful with all the right equipment and training to turn your extra yard-space into local green-space producing fresh, tasty vegetables all season for the picking!
